Green Bean Casserole

This is maybe one of the easiest and prettiest recipes around. Cranberries and green beans together are so festive! There are two ways to play this–sauce or no sauce.

No sauce(my favorite): Simply add butter or a few tablespoons oil and a few minced garlic cloves to pan. Saute the green beans until they are tender, but still crisp, and warmed through. Add cranberries and sliced almonds right before serving. That’s it!

Sauce: Saute green beans as described above. Mix together the cream of anything soup mix as normal (a double batch), and pour it over the green beans in the pan. Cook and stir until the sauce is thickened. Add cranberries and almonds right before serving.
